Helping the environment and our neighborhood, these ever-changing assortments are ‘one-day fresh’ or just a little blemished for a fraction of the retail price.
We sell our very own delicious surplus baked goods - from brownies to cupcakes to cookie sandwiches - as treat boxes, preventing them from going to waste.
Our profits become much-needed cash donations to charities addressing child hunger.
Our mission is to create a sustainable and innovative food surplus solution that tackles our own food waste, challenges perceptions of food surplus, and addresses rising food poverty.
With 24 million slices of bread wasted each day, bakery is one of the largest categories of food waste. Because of current supply chain dynamics, many bakeries struggle with what to do with their leftovers (aka surplus) at the end of the day.
By creating a secondary market we’re rescuing our delicious, high-quality pastries from becoming waste.
Through our social campaign, we’re raising the profile and getting more people talking about the issue of food waste.
And, through our transfer of profits to charities, we’re giving unrestricted funds to help tackle child hunger.
